After several requests we are happy to release a templates designed around videos and media. We are proud to release our new S5 Media Player module that nicely compliments Mediaplate. The module allows you to add up to 30 video clips/movies. It accepts FLV files and the popular MP4 file types.
This template has 21 modules positions with 3 module styles. As first released last month we include the image rotator and give it a new look to match the Mediplate template. As usually we give you some background options, Mediaplate brings two. You can assign a background to the top portion of the template and to the bottom portion. The S5 Tab show is also included in this template release as seen in the City Portal template. Be sure to browse around the demo of this template to see all the features included!

Martin Hall’s live-action film credits include lighting the model miniatures for Deep Rising, Con Air, Flubber, Armageddon, My Favorite Martian, Bicentennial Man and Mission to Mars. Martin also photographed large-format plates for X-Files and The Practice. Digital compositing and 3D work at Pacific Title include the following credits: The Replacements, Monkeybone, Driven, Dungeons and Dragons, Rollerball, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, The Bourne Identity, Men in Black 2, Scooby Doo 1 & 2, Cat in the Hat and Garfield. In New Zealand he was a compositor on Lord of the Rings 2: The Two Towers. He is currently working as an effects supervisor on several commercials for clients such as Mattel, Mazda and Dodge. Martin’s work has also been featured in Cinefex magazine.

Gnomon Shake Expressions, Scripting and Macros | 1.3 Gb
In this lecture, Matt Linder discusses the powerful flexibility of using the command line and expressions to take your compositing to a new level of speed and efficiency. Matt begins with basic Unix commands for your terminal or shell, showing how to navigate around directories and files, and leads into Shake commands that demonstrate the advantages of command line workflow. Command line tasks run much more efficiently when you do not need to load a user-interface. Matt shows how to composite, resize, color correct, transform and convert your images from the com- mand line. He teaches how to set up batch scripts to run multiple tasks for nighttime renders or a distributed render, and how to build template scripts for repetitive tasks like title slates, wedges, video to film or film to video conversions. Matt uses simple math expressions to add new functionality to Shake, accessing and altering data anywhere in the workflow, linking node parameters, or creating random noise or sine wave expressions. He shows how to customize Shake's interface, how to build your own Macros, and how to build your own Viewer Look-Up-Table.
